Context

Sarah Maxey runs Slate Social Management: social media management, content creation and SEO for small businesses, Denver and everywhere, since January 2023. She is on camera for her clients herself.

The goal

Put each client's brand kit and every finished photo and reel in one place, so nobody has to ask for a file to be sent again.

What we fixed

  • A Library of every photo and reel, by month and campaign.
  • A live Brand kit that each client builds at onboarding.
  • Approvals, where next week's posts wait for a yes.
  • A Studio view that shows every room at a glance and files a new shoot into a room in a few taps.

Security and IT checks

  • Each client signs in to their own room.
  • Each team member signs in as themselves, so the activity log shows who did what.
  • The room sends only three kinds of email: a post waiting on a client, a change asked, a kit changed.
  • Posts go out only after the client approves.

The feature

Each client has a Brand Room with three tabs: a Library of every photo and reel by month and campaign, a live Brand kit they build at onboarding, and Approvals where next week's posts wait for a yes.

Both sides of the build

A screen for the client and a screen for the owner, shown with sample names and sample data.

Client view

A Brand Room for every client

The Library holds every photo and reel by month and campaign, with a download pack for each month. A Brand kit tab holds the client's kit, and an Approvals tab shows what is waiting on the client.

Owner view

Studio: every client room at a glance

The Studio overview counts posts waiting on clients, changes asked, files delivered and client downloads. A Needs you list shows what is waiting on Sarah, such as a change asked down to a specific second of a reel or a kit that changed. Below it are the client rooms, the latest activity and the team seats. Inside a room she sees who downloaded what, sends a revised post back and files new work with Add to room.
