Context

Vibes Pet Grooming is a shop at 967 Park St in downtown Castle Rock, grooming dogs and cats of all sizes Wednesday to Saturday since 2019. The owner has about twenty years in the trade, and most of the week is repeat pets that start with "same as last time".

The goal

Make "same as last time" mean exactly that, with last time's photo and the owner's answer ready at drop off.

What we fixed

Each pet keeps a record of its last cut: the after photo, the cut in plain words, and notes on coat, skin, nails and how it went.
After every groom the pet owner gets a branded report card.
The owner answers same cut or a change.
The groomer opens that photo and answer at drop off instead of working from memory.

Security and IT checks

Pet owners open their report cards through a private link.
Booking stays on the studio's booking page, a separate system. The record only keeps the cut and the answer.
Staff sign in to the groom record.

The feature

Each pet keeps a record of its last cut. After every groom the pet owner gets a branded report card and answers same cut or a change, and the groomer opens that photo and answer at drop off.

The card shows the after photo, the cut in plain words, and notes on coat, skin, nails and how it went. For the next groom the owner answers Same cut or Change something. The card also shows the cut history and a way to share it.

The day's grooms are listed with their status: booked, on the table or report sent. Each pet shows its last cut photo and the owner's answer or requested change at drop off. Pets holds every pet's cut history, Report cards shows which owners have not answered yet, and a groom is finished in one screen: photo, cut prefilled from last time, one tap notes, send.
